Who can stay at Anglesey Outdoors

We welcome a wide variety of visitors, whether you are looking for just one bed or to hire the whole complex.  See "About You" section (above in the main navigation) for more info.

How far in advance do I need to book

If there is a particular time you wish to visit we strongly recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.  During peak times we only offer B & B accommodation as we have limited self catering facilities.  We do get cancellations though so you can always try for a last minute booking.

What time can I check in

You may check in anytime after 4pm.  If, when you arrive Reception is closed, there will be a notice on the door with a contact number for the member of staff on call.  For arrivals before this time provision just needs to be made in case cleaning is still being completed or we are busy around the site.  Arrivals later than 10.30pm are possible, please discuss at the time of your booking.

What time do I need to check out

Check out time for all accommodation is 10.30am.  If you are not leaving until later please contact Reception if you would like to leave your luggage.

Is there a place to store my bike/surf board?

Yes, we have a locked gear store by the Main Centre.

How far is the beach

Our nearest beach, Porth Dafarch, is just 10 minutes walk away.  This is a Blue Award Flag Beach and has a slip and toilets but no shops.  It is ideal for rock pooling and access to The Anglesey Coastal Path . Trearddur Bay is two miles away and is a big, brilliant family beach for swimming, ice creams, surfing etc.

Can I bring my dog

Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Anglesey Outdoors in our glamping units, camping and in the Ty Pen Annexe if rented as an exclusive booking.  We regret dogs are not permitted in any units with communal accommodation. All dogs must be on a lead at all times. Please also be aware that our local beach, Porthdafarch, and part of Trearddur Bay do not allow dogs from late May to September.

Is there a drying room

Yes there is a drying room with laundry facilities on the ground floor.  Please contact Reception for the access code.

Are there any age limits

Under 18 year olds can stay unaccompanied, but parents need to have completed the parental consent form before arrival and that a good behaviour bond is paid.

Is there public transport nearby?

The nearest bus route ends about 1 mile away. The nearest train station is in Holyhead . If you are arriving late or have a lot of luggage we would recommend getting a taxi as the road is unlit and there is no pavement. Taxis cost around £4.00 from Holyhead .

Is there internet access

We have a computer for general use in The Paddlers Return onsite Bar & Bistro which is for the use of the internet but does not run programs like Word.  There is WIFI in the Main Centre and The Paddlers Return.

Parking facilities

There is ample parking but we ask that you park with consideration for others especially if you have a trailer or rib.  If you are camping feel free to park next to your tent.  At all times we request that you drive carefully. View Site Map
